Shonell started working at Oakcrest Pet Hospital in 2006 as a kennel attendant but quickly transitioned into a client service representative and eventually our facilities manager . If you need to know where something is or how it works, Shonell is the person to ask. She is very helpful and strives to make everyone laugh and feel at home. Shonell has two children, Cody and Destiny. When she isn't working, she is usually busy caring for her numerous pets or attending her kids activities. She loves to fish and is quite the mechanic - having just switched engines in one of her vehicles.
Destiny was born and raised in California and became a registered veterinary technician after graduating from Carrington College California in 2011. She now resides in Wichita with her husband, Colton, step-daughter, Adrien, and three dogs, Rico, Dodger, and Lilly. Fernanda is a native of the Central American country, Honduras. She grew up living near the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean Sea until she was about 10 years old when her family decided to move to the United States. Fernanda said she always loved animals as a child, so it was no surprise that she enrolled in the veterinary technology program at WSU Tech after high school. She completed her degree in 2018 and came to work at Oakcrest Pet Hospital shortly afterwards. Fernanda's welcoming smile and gentle spirit make her the perfect 'nurse' for our patients. When not caring for the pets at Oakcrest, Fernanda enjoys spending time with her own fur babies and exploring the hidden beauty of the outdoors in Kansas.
