Shonell started working at Oakcrest Pet Hospital in 2006 as a kennel attendant but quickly transitioned into a client service representative and eventually our facilities manager . If you need to know where something is or how it works, Shonell is the person to ask. She is very helpful and strives to make everyone laugh and feel at home. Shonell has two children, Cody and Destiny. When she isn't working, she is usually busy caring for her numerous pets or attending her kids activities. She loves to fish and is quite the mechanic - having just switched engines in one of her vehicles.

Destiny was born and raised in California and became a registered veterinary technician after graduating from Carrington College California in 2011. She now resides in Wichita with her husband, Colton, step-daughter, Adrien, and three dogs, Rico, Dodger, and Lilly. While Destiny enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has a particular interest in anesthesia and emergency medicine. She also likes caring for exotic animals, including her pet rats - which are trained to fetch the paper!
Joy was born and raised in Wichita, but she spent several years living in Germany as a child, thanks to her military father. While living in Germany, Joy became fluent in German and developed a love for the country's beautiful landscape and indulgent cuisine, especially bratwurst! Joy joined Oakcrest Pet Hospital in 2017 as a client service representative. She says that her job is the perfect melding of her love for animals and her enthusiasm for customer service. When not helping the clients and patients at Oakcrest, Joy loves spending time with her son, Matthew, three grandchildren, and 4 furry children at home.
